Kahlil Gibran- does the 'h' come before or after the 'a'?- has a beautiful quote about work. Something to the affect of putting your whole self into your work so that it becomes like a sacred offering, and if you work without joy, the end result is tarnished. Well, that's great, Mr. Gibran. I'd probably feel that way if I were writing poetry and drawing all day, but instead I'm sitting at a computer for eight and a half hours with people giving me attitude because the $28,000 they're spending on a WEEK-long stay doesn't get them a fireplace in the room! Oh, God, deliver me from this hell.
